Why some Jews can’t stop learning… while others can’t start

profile

Tzurba M'Rabanan

Our mission is simple but ambitious: we want to transform the way Jews around the world engage with Torah learning. Whether you're just starting your learning journey or you're an experienced scholar seeking deeper insights, our community provides the structure, resources, and camaraderie to push you to the next stage of your spiritual and intellectual growth.

Torah study isn’t meant to feel like hauling bricks uphill — yet for many adults, that’s exactly what it becomes: one more task squeezed between work emails and bedtime.

But the problem isn’t lack of reverence; it’s how we design the encounter. Rambam, Pirkei Avot, and modern psychology all converge on the same point: lasting motivation comes when study feels chosen, when small wins prove we’re growing, and when we’re not alone in the act. In this week’s article, I’ll show you how to shift Torah from “should” to “want to” — and why the nights you’re most tired might actually hold the deepest flow.

The Dr Harold and Magda Katz Volume 22 of Tzurba is out now, in Israel and Internationally!

Topics include: Giving Birth on Shabbat, Emergencies on Shabbat, Electricity on Shabbat, Asking a Gentile to Violate Shabbat, Benefiting from the Violation of Shabbat, Carrying on Shabbat, Eiruv Chatzeirot, Eiruv Techumin.

Can I blow shofar for my wife on Rosh HaShana? Or is it muktzeh?

Find out the answer to that and much more in our free Chagei Tishrei volume, available for download and printing now!

🚨 Finally Learn Gemara on Your Own Terms - Without Years of Prerequisites

You know that feeling. Sitting in shiur, watching others navigate the Gemara effortlessly while you struggle to keep up. You've tried Daf Yomi. You've attended classes. But you still can't open a Gemara and learn independently.

What if 30 weeks could change everything?

We're launching an intensive skills program that does one thing exceptionally well: transforms motivated adults into confident, independent Gemara learners. One hour per week. No fluff. Just the precise skills you need.

What makes this different:

  • Personal attention: Maximum 10 students per cohort
  • Weekly feedback: Track your progress on our skill tree system
  • Office hours: Get your specific questions answered
  • No prerequisites: Start wherever you are right now
  • Practical focus: Learn skills, not theory

From the publishers of Tzurba M'Rabanan - We've spent years making Torah learning accessible. This bootcamp applies those same principles to Gemara study.

Investment: Early bird pricing available until August 18, 2025
Start date: Elul 1st (August 25, 2025)
